I have been on 4 of the 5 Metro lines today…orange to State Dept, red to UAE, yellow to bank, blue to shorter way to Rosslyn, and then I’ll grab orange back to West falls for l’autobus home. oh yeah, then it’s off to work, argh.
I realize that people commute every day, but I bet they don’t play on mass transportation for 5-6 hours.

at the State Dept again. this is a weird club or something- all the bike messengers know each other (and wear various tights), and 2/3 of the other people seem to know each other too.
the bike guys have their own little language too, inside jokes, etc. most of them have their pants rolled up—so the short ones look like jockeys.
